GE Intercooler cores are remanufactured by first completely cleaning the unit. The next step includes visually inspecting the unit for leaks while applying pressure to the core. All identified leaking tubes are mechanically sealed. If the number of sealed tubes exceeds the OEM standard for the maximum allowable number, a replacement center section is offered in the remanufacturing process. Upon completion of either process, a final pressure check is done. The intercooler is then completely dried, painted, wrapped and skidded for shipment.

EMD Aftercooler

EMD Aftercooler cores are remanufactured by first completely cleaning the unit then visually inspecting the unit for leaks while applying pressure to the core. All identified leaking tubes are mechanically sealed. If the number of leaking tubes exceeds the OEM maximum, the "core" can be replaced. Upon completion of either process, a final pressure check is done. The aftercooler is then completely dried, painted, wrapped and skidded for shipment.

GE style oil coolers are remanufactured starting with a complete cleaning and visual inspection of the incoming unit. A flush is made of both the oil and water system. All units are disassembled with both elements being cleaned a second time and parts individually inspected. All gasket surfaces are prepared for new gaskets. Bonnets are bead blasted. A pressure check is made on both the oil "side" and on the water "side". Any leaking tubes are mechanically sealed as necessary. Reassembly is completed using new O-rings and gasket. The oil cooler is then painted and skidded for shipment.
